How an investor gets documents today
The LP is the customer: GraphQL and REST API with keys and sandbox, Snowflake share, Excel exports, vendor MCP server. Not fully self-serve. The research records an investor-side API.
- Ask about API access. The API is partner only, but investors are among its listed users. Expect a commercial agreement with Chronograph before credentials are issued. See Partner-only portal access explained.
- MCP server. An MCP server is available. The registry has not confirmed that an investor account can connect to it, so check with Chronograph before relying on it.
- Notifications. Email notifications are unknown in the registry. Where they exist, routing them to a monitored mailbox is the first step in How to automate capital call notices.
- Manual download. Download documents from the web portal (exports recorded: XLSX).
- Automation. The terms or the vendor permit consented automation. Use your own credentials and the documented interfaces.

Sources and notes
Not a GP-to-LP portal: an LP-side monitoring platform where the LP is the customer and GP documents are aggregated on its behalf. Listed because it is the strongest example of investor-side API plus MCP today.
